I knew your mother and her family when I was a child growing up here in Rusk. She moved away, and when she returned, she became my high school English teacher for a time. (Seems as though she finished a semester for somebody who had to leave.) I often wondered where she went when she left again. Get in touch with me again, and I shall endeavor to find some photos, probably from some school yearbooks. (I have recently returned to Rusk High School to teach AP junior and senior English classes myself---after being retired from there for ten years!) "

" Billy is doing great in Beaumont. He has a job that pays very well. And can you believe it is a construction job. This company has put aside that he is in a wheelchair. He has never wanted to work behind a desk. The Lord has blessed us with Billy and we have always told him that he could do whatever he wants to do. And what he wants to do is work with his hands. With this new job, we thank God that Billy finally got what he wanted. "

" Steve has finished his chemo. Now it is time to repair his hernia. He had a doctors appt. for July 26 but he came home from work on the 17th and the hernia had doubled in size. After several phones to the doctors, we finally got him an earlier appt which will be on the 19th. Hopefully he will have his surgery soon. "

Steve's is still taking chemo and it is starting to make is very sick and the hernia is getting bigger, so they are going to have to stop the chemo and remove the hernia and then restart chemo. " My wife and I (( Beth )) have bought 2-"Big Boy" rockers,3-end tables, Custom Kitchen Table, a Custom 7 ft high by 9 ft wide entertainment center over the past three yrars(( All Red Cedar)). This is the most beautiful furniture we have ever purchased. So far, everyone has fallen in love with all items. Our house in known as the one with the Big Rockin' Chairs on the front porch. " "Donna, just wanted to let you know that Billy is back at ETMC for approx 20. He will be using the Hyperbaric Chamber everyday for 2 hours. This will help him to heal from the inside out alot quicker. The first day he went he only lasted 2 minutes because of the air pressure. The next day they had to put tubes in his ears, and now everything is working ok. Saw him today, 4-15-05, and I can already see a difference in his leg. lived in J'ville in 1949-50 but graduated from Henderson High in '58. I wa
born in J'ville and lived on Dallas St. and also on Hwy 259 across from
